    The TRX suspension strap is securely tied to bars in a gym, or can even be used by experienced athletes at home by tying it to a secure bar/rod. There are several positions in TRX training, all requiring varying angles of your body for different exercises.

    TRX position 1 is now popularly called the facing position because you face the anchor, i.e. the point where the strap is tied. In TRX position 2, you are facing away from the anchor and in position 3 you are facing one side. In addition, there are some TRX positions we use as floor exercises: in the position facing down, our feet are strapped into the TRX band and we face the floor in a plank/pushup position. In the facing up position, you lie on your back with your feet strapped into the TRX band and use the suspension technique to work on your lower body strength. All the exercises are customisable by adjusting your body’s angle to increase or decrease the difficulty level.
